NCAA-- The NCAA Mens Basketball Championship game has now been decided, with Duke winning easily against Wisconsin and Kentucky continuing their unbeaten season with a win over Wisconsin. Lets take a look at how both teams won their last game in this years NCAA March Madness Tournament.
Duke Blows Out Michigan State
The score showcases a blowout with the games outcome inalifzing at 81-61 Duke. Though you could have seen this coming by the end of the first half with Duke already up 11 and not looking like they were going to take the foot off the gas.
Michigan States Denzel Valentine was the only player of the Spartans who came to play it seemed, posting up a solid double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. While Duke’s Okafor had 18 points 6 rebounds and Winslow was even better with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Unfortunately one team has to end their dream of winning the NCAA Championship chances, this year it was Michigan State.
Kentuckys Streak Ends With Wisconsin Win
Well the hopes of seeing a team go unbeaten this year has finally come to an end, just one game away from finishing the season perfectly. Wisconsin matched the Kentucky Wildcats blow for blow and was in control of the game for most of it. Even though it seemed as if Wisconsin was going to extend its lead and take the game with ease, Kentucky kept bouncing back to make it seem as if destiny was in their hands.
Although this wasn't the finales, I mentioned to a few friends and colleagues of mine that the Wisconsin Vs Kentucky games was the finales in my eyes. Both teams matched up well, one unbeaten and the other with a score to settle. Monday is going to be a great game with Duke having the edge in beating Wisconsin easily earlier in the year. Although momentum and the desire to win may be in the Wisconsin Badgers favor this game.
