Justin Bieber Messing with Beliebers' Emotions; Claims he REALLY is Retiring

Justin Bieber confirms he is really retiring, but is it a publicity ploy for Believe movie?

Justin Bieber is clearly conflicted and his emotions are spilling over into his adoring fans’ lives. Will he or won’t he? That is the big question. Will Justin retire and leave his Beliebers hanging or is it all a joke? When he made the announcement last week, his team quickly poo-pooed the idea and said it was all just a joke. Maybe for them, but Justin seems pretty serious about giving up the music for a bit and enjoying his freedom from working.

To be fair, touring and being shuffled all over the world to promote his brand at the ripe age of 15 and 16 would have definitely been a drag. Sure he got rich, but he was the product of a machine and was told what to say, how to act and how to dress. This is why we are dealing with the Justin Bieber of today. He is rebelling in a big way. A lot of child stars go through this as a result of being used as cash cows for the parents, managers and everybody else who profits from their success. Look at Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan along with the long line of child stars that have died or ended up completely broke as a result of their time in the spotlight. Whatever goes up must come down and some don’t get a soft landing.

On Christmas Eve, Justin tweeted, “My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring.” That was the giant sob you heard. It wasn’t Santa falling off his sleigh and skinning his knee. The teen dream followed up his statement with, “The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.” Okay, wait, what? You are or you aren’t? What is it going to be? Really, he is playing with people’s emotions here.

There are those who would welcome a little break from Bieber mania. He could truly use a break. As much as he mumbles and grumbles about the media, it is what made him into the star he is today. If people are not talking about him in the media, he won’t be buying fat houses and cars and taking private jets to Mexico. You are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Clearly he is struggling.

Justin Bieber could simply say he is taking a vacation. Take some time off. Quit doing really stupid crap for a few weeks and let people forget about the brat who had a pretty rotten 2013. Miley Cyrus is doing enough to take the spotlight off of him for a while. He could lay low, grow up a bit and then try and do a comeback. Right now he is a bit of a train wreck. He needs to spend some time with his family and get grounded.

Playing with little girls’ emotions isn’t winning him any new friends. Parents who were forced to console their sobbing daughters are likely tired of the games. As if to prove his power and the fact that he holds so many little girls’ hearts in his hands, he sent out yet another tweet, “Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER.” And then he gifted his Beliebers with a few clips of him singing.

Okay, so here is my take on the retiring rumor. He said it to drum up interest in “Believe” the movie. He wants fans to think this is the last chance they will see him or to run out and see the film to learn why he is retiring. He wants to be the underdog (his words) because then it is like his original story. He was a poor boy who was raised by a single mom and struck it big at 13. That was a story that endeared him to millions. That story has been forgotten and he has created an image of a spoiled little brat who has too much money and feels entitled to it all. Bye, bye Biebs. Don’t let the door hit ya’ where the good Lord split ya’. Come back when you can really grow facial hair and not spit on people. We will be waiting.
