As if Kanye West needed anything else to inflate his already enormous ego, somebody has come up with a new way to idolize the man who is convinced he is some kind of God. Lord help us all when Kanye reaches deity status. There are some people in this world who are buying into the load of crap this man has been shoveling. It is a scary world when Kanye West inspires an actual religion.

A website for the religion which has been dubbed, Yeezianity, is up and running and it praises the rapper. One of the main beliefs of the religion, which was founded by a person who wishes to remain anonymous is this, “That the one who calls himself Yeezus is a divine being who has been sent by God to usher in a New Age of humanity.” If that doesn’t make you throw up in your mouth a little I don’t know what will.

The religion is fairly new and has only been officially established for a month or so. In a rather long, horrific diatribe, the unnamed founder discusses the reason for the religion with Noisey. Along with comparing Kanye West to Jesus and how the rapper is so similar to the Savior the person explains, “Because Yeezus is when Kanye elevates to that God-level, which I feel like we all have the potential to do.”

Referring to Yeezianity, the founder explains his hopes for the future, “If it takes off, in the future, people would forget Kanye and his antics, and instead focus on what the message is.” Nobody is going to forget Kanye’s antics. He is an obnoxious human being that has elevated himself to this status that only a handful of people actually buy into. It is sacrilegious to compare yourself to God no matter if your God is Buddha, Allah or whoever. While many believe that God blesses certain individuals with talents like a beautiful singing voice that can certainly never be said about Kanye West. His rap music is decent, at times, but it is certainly not anything God would ever want to sit down and jam out to. Of that, I am one hundred percent positive.

Fortunately, if Kanye West is aware of the religion he inspired he hasn’t said anything yet. He has probably turned the matter over to his lawyers to sue Yeezianity for using his likeness. Only Kanye is allowed to refer to himself as a God.

The founder also explained why Kanye was the perfect person to develop a religion after. “He is the most honest person in our culture. He has the highest moral standards and highest integrity. He is the most creative person,” the founder (who also claims to be an artist) explains. Hmm, honesty can be delivered in a tactful manner, but Kanye hasn’t quite learned that yet. Creatively using other people’s music and lyrics is a gift. The moral standards I have to beg to differ. Listen to the lyrics he actually writes. Most people in jail wouldn’t talk like that or even think about doing some of the things Kanye references.

Thanks for the religion, but I think I will pass. This is one time I hope Kanye West does sue to shut it down.
