Wearable technology is definitely looking to be a hot topic for the 2014 calendar year, and LG made a good impressions with the showcase for the “Life Band Touch”. The bracelet is both for fitness while also connecting with your mobile phone for interaction in more than one way.
This sleek wearable tech bracelet is stylish while also being extremely easy to use, LG showed off an all black version and hopefully there will be multiple color options in the future. Previous devices that other manufactures have released may look similar but there is no doubt that this one has a better rate of accuracy and built of a higher quality. With an OLED display, it gives the user a clearer image in viewing their results or messages that come across the bands display interface.
That's right, Messages, calls, music and more can all be viewed from the display on the LG Life Band Touch. It can be synced with Apple and Android devices just a s easy and the battery lifespan is great. Two days with your Bluetooth synced to a phone and 4 days when it is not.
The latch to take it off is extremely small, so the Life Band Touch fits smoothly around the wrist without any added bulkiness. The idea behind in why LG was wanting to create the wristband in the first place was in making something for every user in which they wouldn't want to take off.
Up until now have bands been bulky and only fashionable during select events, LG is looking to have made something that is both practical and fashionable. Multiple wristband sizes are going to be available in Larger, Medium and Small in order to find the best fit for your wrist size. The question comes down to effectiveness and everyone interviewing the hosts of the product came away smiling and wanting to get their hands on one. Unfortunately LG said that he wrist band wasn't going to be available until the second quarter of 2014.
