'Nurse Jackie' is a show that has everything from comedy, drama and even some suspense. However, what makes the series even better is actress, Mackenzie Aladjem who soars above some of the veteran actors and creates a presence unlike anything we've ever seen before.
We recently had the opportunity to speak with Aladjem about her role of Fiona Peyton on the hit series and here is what you need to know:
BECCA ROSE: What has been the most rewarding aspect of playing, Fiona Peyton?
MACKENZIE ALDAJEM: Getting to know and work with some amazing people has been the best part! Also, spending three months out of the year in NYC - I will miss it all!
BR: What’s it like working with Edie Falco?
MA: Edie is awesome! She is so sweet and a dog lover like me! I learned so much just from watching how she treats everyone on set, let alone watching her work.
BR: What is your favorite quality about Fiona?
MA: Fiona is so loving and nonjudgmental. I love that about her!
BR: How did you decide to become an actor?
MA: I have two sisters-one was a dancer and one was an actress, so I guess I combined the family favorites! When I was very young my babysitter introduced me to the musical, Annie and that is where I found my love for theater!
BR: Other than acting, what are you most passionate about and why?
MA: I love singing and dancing. I have recently started working with the organization STOP POACHING NOW! I am hoping we can make a difference in saving these animals and get teenagers involved in helping so our children will have the opportunity to share the planet with the wildlife we have been blessed with.
BR: Where can our readers keep up with what you’re doing? Are you on social media?
