The chase is on, will Manchester United secure a Champions League Spot?

The Month Of March Is The True Test For Manchester United

MUFC-- This month is going to be a crucial month for Manchester United who currently sits in 4th place in the English Premier League and is still playing in the F.A Cup. With the Red Devils only being 2 points above Liverpool in the standings, the pressure will only increase as falling below them would be a horrible situation for both the team and the fans.

This year hasn’t been one most fans are use to seeing, as the formation has constantly been changed and injury woes were of legendary status in the first half of the season. However if their is one franchise that can get stuck in there and pull off what is needed to secure a Champions League spot, it is Manchester United.

The English Premier League has 11 games to go for most teams and 12 for a few others, so whether your team is fighting for their lives to not get relegate, a Champions League spot or of course the Premier League trophy, the pressure is going to be on. Manchester United will consider this season a total success with just a Champion League birth, however if they can pull in the F.A trophy too, then they will have overachieved.

The next 5 matches are as follows for the Red Devils,

EPL March 4th, @ Newcastle United

FA Cup March 9th, Arsenal

EPL March 15th, Tottenham

EPL March 22nd, @ Liverpool

EPL April 4th, Aston Villa

Out of those above matches you can see Manchester United will be tested by more than one team. The FA Cup game against Arsenal will almost certainly decide who will go on to win the trophy in most eyes. Whereas the EPL games against Tottenham and away to Liverpool will be no easy victory.

When Angel Di Maria comes back into form and has finally fully adjusted to life in the English Premier League, Manchester United will be a team that can go onto beat anyone in England. Fans will be homing this comes to fruition in the next game or so since his last outing may have been his worst game in a very long time.
