Who is going to go where and for how much?

The Top NFL Free Agents Going Into The 2015/2016 Season

NFL-- The list is long and this year it is filled with some high profile names who are looking to test the market to see if another team is willing to pay them more. A few positions seems to be a little heavier as far as talent goes, while others such as the fullback spot is only going to be relevant to a few teams.

The wide receivers list is full of 2nd tier players, but they are abundant it seems which could end up being more detrimental to which those same receivers were hoping to cash in. Lets take a look at some of the more notable positions in which I will start off with the receiver's first.

  • Randall Cobb

  • Jeremy Maclin

  • Torrey Smith

  • Michael Crabtree

  • Stevie Johnson

  • Kenny Britt

  • Cecil Shorts

  • Brian Hartline

  • Eddie Royal

  • Nate Washington

  • Wes Welker

  • Hakeem Nicks

  • Mike Williams

  • Reggie Wayne

  • Denarius Moore

  • Leonard Hankerson

  • Dwayne Harris

  • Ted Ginn

  • Jacoby Jones

  • Harry Douglas

  • Vincent Brown

  • Brandon Gibson

  • Miles Austin

  • Jerrel Jernigan

  • Donnie Avery

  • Marcus Easley

  • Derek Hagan

  • Robert Meachem

So as you can see there are quite a few players that would work perfectly as a number 2 on the top tier teams and even a number one on some of the lower teams. It all comes down to two things for these players, one being what the offer is of course and the other is who the quarterback is.

Taking a look at the running back position next, there are a few names that can work as a second back but not necessarily a first down back due to the short lifespan of the position.  You typically want to try to score in the draft with this positions so you can take full advantage of their durability, low milage and cheap contract.

  • DeMarco Murray

  • C.J. Spiller

  • Ryan Mathews

  • Mark Ingram

  • Justin Forsett

  • Frank Gore

  • Shane Vereen

  • Stevan Ridley

  • Roy Helu

  • Reggie Bush

  • Ahmad Bradshaw

  • Darren McFadden

  • Knowshon Moreno

  • Ray Rice

  • Ben Tate

  • DeAngelo Williams

  • Steven Jackson

  • Chris Johnson

  • Antone Smith

  • Jacquizz Rodgers

There is no denying that the running back position has some pretty big names, but just like any brand you can;t be over loyal without a production value. Next I would normally go into the quarterback positions since it is usually considered the “face of the franchise”, but unfortunately if you have to start any of them, then chances are you are not going to be a team over .500, or if you are just barely.

The rest of the positions aren't going to be something everyone want to look at even though they are probably more important to the entirety of the team. Instead I will put a link down below redirecting you to rotowire to further continue your quest for what your team needs or better yet, to hone in on some potential sleepers for next years fantasy football.
