Celebrities often get caught saying some really stupid stuff by reporters and paparazzi. It is usually a comment that escaped before the celebrity could think twice about their carefully cultivated persona. The offhand comments prove celebrities are not quite the perfect, well-spoken, always-have-the-right-answer Gods and Goddesses they are perceived to be. They are human and say stupid stuff just like the rest of us. Fortunately for us, we don’t have video cameras or reporters in our face every second of the day. We can say stupid crap and get away with it. Celebrities who have a slip of the tongue and reveal just how jaded they truly are will have to deal with a scandal. Most of the time, the scandals are short-lived because there is always another celebrity just around the corner ready to make the same mistake. The past several days have been pretty rough on several Hollywood celebs who let their mouths get away from them.

In no particular order, here are your dumb celebrity quotes for the week.

1-Jonah Hill seems like a big, friendly teddy bear, but he clearly has another side that he keeps under wraps. Everybody has their limits and Jonah was clearly pushed to his by a paparazzo. The camera-wielding bully just wouldn’t leave Jonah Hill alone. He insulted him repeatedly and the actor did his best to ignore the guy, but he clearly had had enough. He lashed out and said a few choice words, which have been banned by the politically correct police. Jonah has apologized twice for his poor choice of words. Hmm, wonder when the paparazzo is going to apologize for being a jerk?

2-Justin Bieber is still trying to get past his scandal involving him saying some pretty racist things. The video that will not go away was made a long time ago. Justin was very young at the time and kids at that age tend to believe whatever their parents, friends and mentors believe. He didn’t just decide he hated a particular race one morning. Suffice it to say, the video is old and obviously judging by his closest friends today, the video means nothing. He has owned up to it and apologized. His powerful friends have also come to his defense.

3-Gwyneth Paltrow is still feeling the backlash of her comment about internet trolls attacking her in something that is akin to a war. Because sitting at home in your multi-million dollar home in lavish luxury is very similar to crawling through swamps, deserts and other horrible conditions while trying not to get killed. She needs to just get off the internet if she is that bothered by what trolls are saying. It isn’t hard to close the laptop or hit that little red X up in the corner if something isn’t nice.

4-Charlize Theron made the colossal mistake of comparing the intrusion on celebrity privacy to rape. She isn’t the first celebrity to say this. In fact, Charlize’s “Snow White and the Huntsman” star, Kristen Stewart, said nearly the exact same thing. Who stole it from whom? And didn’t Charlize learn from the backlash Kristen endured?

5-Gwyneth Paltrow makes the list again. This time it isn’t anything offensive she has said, it is just so far out there you have to wonder if she really does live in her own little world. She believes water has feelings and it can be influenced by the things around it. It isn’t even worth explaining.

It has been a busy week for celebrity scandals. Who will it be next week? There was one name missing from the list and that is kind of amazing. Congrats to Alec Baldwin for not saying or doing anything really mean or stupid this week!
