Unfortunately 4.4.2 Android devices cannot use Heimdall as it doesn't work as of the date of these videos. The good news however is that I have managed to get Odin to work through Oracles Virtualbox on an Ubuntu based Computer.
Things you will need:
-Intel Based PC
-Linux Installed(Ubuntu Based Is Preferred)
-Windows iso file
-VirtualBox Extra Packages
-Android Files(Please Makes Sure They Are For Your Phone!)
-Data Cable For Android Device

Add the following line into your sources list as shown in the video:
deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian saucy contrib
- Next, run the following commands in your terminal:
wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install virtualbox-4.3 -y
- Press enter again, then add:
- Press enter, and finally add the last line followed by enter, but make sure you replace "yourusername" with your user name:
sudo adduser yourusername vboxusers
