WEEK 9 MNF-- The game ended with both teams having similar team stats, however there was one category that had a major difference, touchdowns. Andrew Luck threw 4 of them as the Indianapolis Colts bounced back from a humiliating loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers the week prior. Though it should be a little less of a humiliation in knowing Big Ben threw for 6 touchdowns yet again for a second week and counting.
Adam Vinatieri put the football through the uprights a total of 8 times on the night, with 4 field goals and 4 PAT’s to go along with them. Luck threw for a franchise record 7th consecutive 300 yard game, which is incredibly impressive to say that last quarterback to lead the Colts is still playing and could go down as the G.O.A.T, Peyton Manning. It was the Colt’s defence that made this game seem as lopsided as it was, they kept the Eli Manning and his offence off balance for most of the evening.
Manning didn't have horrible states, to be honest most of them were close to Andrew Lucks, just not the 4 touchdowns. Both had over 350 yards passing, over 15 passing 1st downs, over 45 passing attempts and 2 fumbles to name a few. Neither team had nothing to brag about in the rushing game, as the game leader was Bradshaw who only managed to accumulate 50 yards on the ground.
Reggie Wayne was welcomed back after a long absence and even managed to haul in a touchdown and grab 10 looks from Andrew Luck. On the other side of the ball, Beckham Jr caught 8 balls for 156 yards from Eli Manning in a losing effort. On the defencive side of the ball, the Colts J. Newsome recorded 2 sacks to lead the night .
The Indianapolis Colts are not 6-3 on the season with a divisional record of 3-2, while the New York Giants are sitting at 3-5 on the season and 2-2 in their division.
